Marieke Oudejans

FOUNDER

Mphasis Productions creates original film, documentary and tv projects focusing on socially conscious themes. It also manages a wide range of projects for international tv and film production companies that film in the USA. The company is based in Los Angeles, but operates globally.

Mphasis was founded by Marieke Oudejans: a producer and reporter with a broad international network of clients. Marieke has produced numerous tv series and segments for clients such as SBS, RTL, BNNVARA, VPRO and Warner Bros. International, as well as feature and documentary shoots for major European production companies. In her earlier career she held senior policy and managerial positions at the Dutch Immigration Department and was Senior Press and Cultural Officer at the Dutch Consulate in LA. Her past work and broad travel experiences inspire her current film projects. As an experienced entertainment consultant and journalist, Marieke can be found moderating events, writing for magazines, or reporting on television and radio.

Marieke holds an MFA from UCLA’s Producers Program and an MA in Political Science (University of Amsterdam). She is the Chair of the Holland Hollywood Connection, which she co-founded with the Dutch Consulate.
